This is Part 8 of a 10 part series on the benefits of meditation for leaders. The eighth reason for mediating is that it helps to stabilize emotions. People with more mindful traits are better able to stabilize their emotions and have better control over their moods. We have all seen the people that get caught up in the heat of the moment, explodes, and does something completely uncharacteristic which ultimately leads to disastrous results.
The competitive nature of most people causes them to have to deal with an array of constantly changing emotions. Embracing and using mindfulness throughout your, will better help you deal with your emotions. Meditation has been shown to help people in this area.
